Cutoffs Title

Cutoff machines are used to cut tubing into short sections of desired lengths and do it quickly on a production basis. The travelling cutoffs are located after the sizing or squaring sections of the mill and come in a variety of models and sizes. The cut quality depends on the model selected and the size of the tube to be cut.

End croppers, or stationary cutoffs, cut short pieces from tube ends to remove imperfections for test lengths. These stationary cutoffs are also used to re-cut long tubes into short lengths after the mill.

The Abbey International Cutoff have sophisticated controls to operate automatically and are capable of cutting precise lengths of tubing or pipe with tight length tolerances.
